My name is Stavriani and I am the founder of Olive Weddings Crete.
10 years of event planning with 3 years of working exclusively with weddings left me with no doubt – this is my calling!
I fell in love with wedding planning and my experience, coupled with the traits of my character allowed me to be on top of things. I am a social person with a great sense of humour, who knows how to listen and be objective. My experience in the event planning industry allowed me to gather the set of skills that is invaluable for this job: high level of professionalism, great problem-solving skills, full commitment, attention to details, budget savvy, creativity… Because a successful wedding planner is beyond versatile!
Native Cretan, I know this region and its market from A to Z. This knowledge, together with the extensive network I have developed over the years of my professional activity, allow me to work out the best offers for my couples and come up with the most creative solutions for their requests. While being local to Crete and having a deep understanding of local culture is an absolute must for a wedding planner, my frequent travels, along with involvement in international NGO projects, allow me to think outside of the box and stay up to date with the global knowledge and trends.
